1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ComicGen Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

ComicGen Studio is an AI-powered comic book creation platform that allows users to design characters, generate comic art, compose panels, and build comic pages. The service uses artificial intelligence to generate images based on your text prompts.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

When using ComicGen Studio, you agree not to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or hateful
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the AI generation system
  • Use automated tools to abuse the service or credit system
  • Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise system security

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the creative concepts and text you provide. AI-generated images are created using our platform and are licensed to you for personal and commercial use, subject to the limitations of our AI provider's terms.

6. User-Uploaded Content & Image Rights

Certain features of ComicGen Studio allow you to upload reference images (such as character photos or artwork) to guide AI-generated content. By uploading any image to the platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the image or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use and upload it
  • The image does not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party
  • You have obtained explicit consent from any identifiable individuals depicted in the image
  • The image does not depict celebrities, public figures, or other third parties without their express written permission

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ComicGen Studio, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your uploaded content. ComicGen Studio reserves the right to remove any uploaded content that violates these terms without notice.

Uploaded reference images are used solely for AI image generation purposes and may be stored temporarily to facilitate the service. ComicGen Studio does not claim ownership of your uploaded images.

7. Credits and Plans

ComicGen Studio operates on a credit-based system. Each AI image generation consumes credits. Free accounts receive a limited number of credits. We reserve the right to modify credit allocations and plan pricing with reasonable notice.

8. Fair Use Policy

ComicGen Studio subscription plans include generous usage allowances designed to support the creative workflow of individual creators and small studios. To ensure platform stability and fair resource allocation for all users:

  • Free Plan: Limited to 3 panel generations total as a trial.
  • Basic Plan ($9.99/mo): Up to 3 full pages (18 panels) per 30-day billing cycle.
  • Pro Plan ($24.99/mo): Up to 10 full pages (60 panels) per 30-day billing cycle.
  • Agency Plan ($49.99/mo): Up to 100 pages (600 panels) per 30-day billing cycle.

Usage counters reset automatically every 30 days from the start of each billing cycle. If you reach your plan's capacity limit, you will be prompted to upgrade or contact our team for custom studio pricing at [email protected].

Automated, scripted, or bot-driven generation that circumvents these limits is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend accounts engaging in abusive generation patterns.

9. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may also voluntarily pause or delete your account at any time from your Account Settings.

10. Limitation of Liability

ComicGen Studio is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data or content.

11. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
